Wondering why I call her Chiba? Well, while I was learning japanese from her I created a nickname for her from the words "Chibi" and "Soba" making Chiba! "Chibi" means short-person while "Soba" means grandmother. So, I guess, Chiba means "short grandma" which, of course, is what she is.
Anyway, yesterday, at 4 in the morning, she woke me up to prepare me for field day. I ended up being forced to do 35 push-ups until my mother saved me by yelling at Chiba for being woken up so early. Lets just say, lots of swear words and foreign languages. It pretty entertaining. But, in the end, I ended up pulling a muscle and not being able to actually do "Field Day". So, Chiba, was it worth it?
Chiba's quote of the day:
"Lotte! Your mother's gone! It's time to try to make cookies again!"
